With 1 in 4 women affected by domestic violence, this project has been one of the most important to me. I wanted to emphasize the emotional stress related to abuse. The feelings a victim may feel have been placed on various elements of the body that may have visuble bruising from abuse.

I wanted to highlight the joy that is taken away when there is abuse. This decision led to the black and white color scheme with just the abuse text being highlighted in the purple color.
